I totally dread changing my sons crib sheet. It should probably be changed more often, but the process is so time consuming and such a pain in the ass. Pull out the crib and untie all 12 of the ties on the crib bumper, wrestle the entire mattress out of the crib, remove the dirty sheet, *sigh* and rest for a second, re-adjust the mattress pad, put on the new sheet, drop the mattress back down into the crib, re-tie all 12 ties on the crib bumper, re-adjust the crib skirt, push the crib back into place. What a pain!
It seems that I have found a solution in Clouds and Stars Quick Zip Crib Sheet I found at Babies-R-Us. I have not tried these sheets yet, but all the reviews gave them 5 out of 5 stars. One reviewer claimed that she can even change the sheet with one hand! That sounds like a dream come true.
The starter set comes with one zipper base and one sheet. After that, all you need to purchase are a few extra sheets to zip onto the base as they are being washed. They are 100% cotton, 200 thread count. Maybe a bit expensive at $36 for the starter set and $18 for the extra sheets, but well worth it! Now if they could just come out with an organic line...
